He was predeceased by: his father John William Miller Sr.; his friend Clarence Byrd; and his sister Luanne Miller. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy "Dot" Byrd; his uncles, W. D. Cherry (Ruthie), Henry Cherry (Joanne), Linwood Cherry (Debbie), Ray Cherry (Sylvia), Art Miller, Jack Miller (Rose) and Dennis Miller (Debbie); his aunt Jackie Stroud; his cousin Brant Jackson; and his pet Cindy Lou.
