Joan Outlaw Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Outlaw of Pink Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Phil Outlaw; her parents, Mildred Chase and Hugh Smiith; her grandmother Tirzah Sheppard; her brothers, Mike Smith, Hugh Smith Jr., Beverly Ivey Smith and Wendall Outlaw; and her sister-in-law Pat Outlaw.
She is survived by: her daughters, Celeste Fussell and Phyliss Outlaw; her siblings, Terry Dean Smith and June Ann Tart; her grandchildren, John-Mark Fussell (Ali), Garrett Fussell (Sydney), Sloane Fussell and Paxtton Outlaw; and her great grandchildren, Ariel Fussell, Luna Fussell, Cannon Fussell and Willow Fussell. She is also survived by several in-laws and many nieces and nephews and caregiver.
In.lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
