He is survived by: his wife Linda Thompson; his children, Floyd Lee Thompson Jr. and Sheila Tortino; his stepchildren, Ford Davis, Tammy Smith (Glenn) and Tina Dudley (Chris Hetzel); and his siblings, Dennis Thompson, Jasper Thompson (Miranda), Charles Thompson, Jeraldine Hill, Effie St. Onge and Millie Griffin (Eddie). He is also survived by many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
