He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tyndall and Iona Tyndall; and his grandson Matthew Tyndall. He is survived by: his wife Lannie Tyndall; his children, Dempsey W. Tyndall II (Kelly), Wanda Harrell (Rick), Wade Tyndall (Michelle), Ward Tyndall and Waylon Tyndall; his grandchildren, Christen Tyndall, Lindsey Goldstein (Dara), Johnathan Edwards (Brooke), Caroline Edwards, Jennifer Harrell, Dustin Tyndall (Lorraine), Dillon Tyndall, Devin Tyndall (Jessica) and Adam Tyndall; and his brothers, Kenneth Tyndall (Nola) and Rommie Earl Tyndall. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pink Hill Funeral Home (1056 NC-11, Pink Hill, NC 28572). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park (985 NC-11, Pink Hill, NC 28572).
