He was predeceased by: his son Joe Wayne Church; and his siblings, Ethel Blevins, Edna Presnell, Jim, Barnett, Roy, Guy and Willie Church.
He is survived by: his wife Juantia Church; his son John Church (Brenda) of Independence, VA; and his grandchildren, Allen Church of Piney Creek, John Church II of Galax, VA, Kenny Church of West Jefferson and Pam Adkins of Sparta, NC. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; numerous great - great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Cranberry Cemetery.
