He was predeceased by: his father Alvis Blevins (Slick); and his wife Geneva Gaye Holbrook Blevins. He is survived by: his son Scott Blevins (Brandy) of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Kristen Blevins, Connor Blevins and Caitlyn Blevins; his half-brother Jim Templeton of Sparta; his niece Beth Phillips (Tony); and his great-nephew Caleb of Piney Creek.
