He was predeceased by: his parents, Rezin Watkins and Angela McGinley Watkins; his wife Jean L. Johnson; his sister Catherine Ailstock; his son William F. Watkins, Jr.; his stepson Michael Johnson; and his grandson Bobby Morris.
He is survived by: his sister Janet Lee Fairley; and his stepchildren, Linda Broadfoot, Sandra Nazelrod, Wendy Orr and Lee Johnson (Mary). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
