He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Smithey and Ruby Anderson Smithey; and his children, Wayne Anderson "Andy" Smithey and Doris Johnson Smithey. He is survived by: his children, Sabrina Smithey and Bret Smithey (Lori); and his grandchildren, Antonia "Andy", Jake, Eli and Annabelle Smithey.
