It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gettys Gladden (Pineville, North Carolina), born in Bessemer City, North Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gettys Gladden and Thelma Wyont; and his wife Patsy Satterfield (Pat). He is survived by: his son Les (Sylvia) of Pineville, N. C.; his sister Billie Lail of Garner, N. C; his grandchildren, Ryan of Pineville and Shea Crowe (Chris) of Denver, N. C.; and his great grandchildren, Katelynn, Kacee, Kylie, Levi and Cutler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
