It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Morrison (Pineville, North Carolina), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on August 1, 2018, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Farmer Morrison and Velma Estelle Huntley Morrison; and his niece Huntley White. He is survived by: his wife Cathy McCallum Morrison; his stepchildren, Donna Russo (Rich) of Charlotte, NC and Robert T. Darnell, Jr. (Katy); his grandchildren, MacKenzie Martin, Logan Martin, Jesiah, Ethan and Eva Darnell; his siblings, Richard Morrison (Craft) of Wadesboro, NC, Linda Melton (Donnie) of Pageland, SC, William Morrison (Hanne) and Eleanor Millinig (Dave) of Palm Coast, FL.; and his nieces and nephews, Slade, Hart, Trace, Ryn, Emerson, Owen and Cooper.
