She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Reynolds and Bertie Mae Reynolds; her husband James "Jim" Spell; and her siblings, Willis, Troy, Claude "Chick" Reynolds, Mima Lee Key, Kathleen Roberson and Gladys Lankford.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Spell (Terry) and James Gregory Spell; her grandchildren, Steven Tyler, Shawn Casey, James Jordan, James Gregory Jr., Aryanna Cythera, Earl Spell (Ann), Wayne Spell (Joyce), Linda Stone and Deborah Smith (Ray); her niece Loraine Rowe; and her nephew Ronnie Reynolds. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Lincoln County.
