With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Richards of Pineville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 13, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Russell and Phronie Russell. She is survived by: her husband Bart; her children, Angie Sawyer (Scott) and Kelly Richards; her grandchildren, Melissa Sanders (Greg), Kaitlyn Tillman, Courtney Duncan (Tyler) and Cameron Duncan (Chelsea); her great grandchildren, Savannah, Aiden, Marley, Noah, Charlee, Caroline and Cochran (Courtney); and her siblings-in-law, Chuck Richards, Pam Richards and Sara Cooper.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials in her name to Union United Methodist Church, 6315 New Town Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173.
