He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patrick Dacey and Minnie Elizabeth Harms Dacey; his daughter Debbie; his wife Elvira Dacey (Vera); his brothers, John Joseph Dacey (Barbara) and Richard Raymond Dacey (Barbara); and also Helen Jean Wulff (Heniz).
He is survived by: his son-in-law James; his children, Deborah Dacey LoPiccolo (James) and William John Dacey; his grandchildren, Bryan Patrick Rooney, Lisa Christine Rooney, Matthew William Dacey and Grace Joy Dacey; and his nieces and nephews, John Patrick Dacey (Amy), Robert William Dacey (Joyce), Richard Dacey (Kristin), Erica Dacey, Karen Ann Wulff, Linda Jean Wulff, Scott Dacey and Nancy Dacey. He is also survived by ten grand-nieces and nephews.
