He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Paige Sparrow. He is survived by: his children, Lloyd W. Sawyer, Jr (Terry) of Washington and Sonya S. Midgette (Steve) of Belhaven; his sisters, Dorothy Gibson (John) of Charlottesville, VA and Ann Braddy (Wayne) of Belhaven; his grandchildren, Trent Midgette (Julie), Megan Sawyer, Kristina Midgette and Ashlan Sawyer; and his great grandchild Harper Jane Midgette.
