She was predeceased by: her parents, Vonnie Everett and Virgil Everett; and her children, Dinah Klapp and Ernest Waters Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Waters Sr.; and her children, Myra Strickland and Kenneth Waters (Lolita). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
