He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonza Tripp and Mary May Tripp; and his grandson Dylan Tripp. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Everett Tripp; his daughters, Kim Tripp of Smithfield, NC and Renee Moore Marritt of Kinston, NC; his sisters, Dora Elizabeth Tripp Manning of Swansboro, NC, Mary Carol Tripp Jones of Kinston, NC and Jean Tripp Parris of Kinston, NC; and his stepchildren, Tina Webster Dunn of Pinetown, NC, Loretta Webster of Pinetown, NC and Kevin Webster of Pinetown, NC. He is also survived by three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, six step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
