He is survived by: his son Dawson Rowland Askew of Washington; his sister-in-law Sabra Williams Askew of Greenville; his nephew Grayson William Askew of Greenville; and also Reagan Askew of Washington. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
