He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmer Hassell Wallace, Sr. and Necy Woolard Wallace; his daughter Tara Lynn Wallace; his stepdaughter Becky; his sisters, Doris Grace Wallace Eakes and Barbara Jean Wallace Godwin; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Eakes, Carl Tetterton and Joe Godwin.
He is survived by: his son Chad Evan Wallace (Lattie Delores Hare) of Florida; his sister Betty Roelofs Tetterton of Washington, NC.; his grandchildren, Jason Everette Handy, Lily Marie Wallace and Payton Lee Wallace; his great grandchild Jacob Evan Handy; and also Linda Bartlett of Florida.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pinetown Church of Christ (710 Main St b, Pinetown, NC 27865). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
