It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Brooks Robbins Cannon of Pinetown, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Harry S. Brooks; her former spouse Rondel L. Robbins, Sr.; her husband Samuel Cannon; and her son Rondel "Ronnie" Robbins, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Joy Robbins Nixon; and her grandchildren, Bradley E. Nixon and Jenna E. Nixon. She is also survived by four stepchildren.
