He was predeceased by: his parents, Needham A. Sullivan and Sarah Lane Sullivan; his daughter Julia Sullivan; and his siblings, Glenn M. Sullivan, Marvin Sullivan, Johnny Sullivan, Troy Sullivan, Estelle Taylor and Ruby Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Waters; his daughters, Mary Jane Jones (Ray) of Chocowinity and Sharon Wilson (William) of Washington; his grandchildren, Bennie Ray Jones (Bonnie), William Jones (Tracey) and Michael Spivey (Christie); his great grandchildren, James Jones, Arabella Spivey and Bethany Spivey; and his brother Needham Sullivan, Jr..
