He was predeceased by: his parents, Ola Doane and Sarah Braswell; and his siblings, Geraldine Braswell Grady, Tom and Shelby Braswell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lois Bullock, Margie Braswell, Nancy Carr (Jimmy) and Phil Braswell (Catherine). He is also survived by many nieces, great nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pineview Cemetery (100 W Hamlet St, Pinetops, NC 27864).
