He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Freeman, Sr. and Hattie Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Helen Freeman; his children, Leondar Carl Horne of Rocky Mount, NC, Cassandra Davis Williams of Tarboro, NC, Wanetta Knight of Tarboro, NC and Clarrissa Freeman; and his sisters, Pauline Lassiter of Selma, NC, Juanita Gunter of Pinetops, NC and Hattie Freeman Eason of Pinetops, NC. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
