Though Sandra may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bert" Best. She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Brice Skinner (Donnie Jr.) of Pinetops; her grandchildren, John Reddick Skinner of Tarboro and Katie Elizabeth Holden (Jordan) of Tarboro; her siblings, Clifton Sam Letchworth (April) of Macclesfield, Ardean L. Lakes (Murrell) of McKee, KY and Cynthia L. Wooten (Jimmy) of Pinetops; and her close friend Jimmy Lee "Buddy" Lewis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Penders Chapel Baptist Church. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Pender's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (3246 W Howard Ave, Tarboro, NC 27886).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The Service League of Greenville Hospice House, 920 Wellness Dr. Greenville, NC 27834, Pender's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, or Webbs Chapel Baptist Church, PO Box 336, Macclesfield, NC 27852.
