It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Cummings (Pinetops, North Carolina), who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruby Cummings to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Harrell and Smithie Harrell; her husband Joe Cummings; and her brothers, Elwood, Jack, Tink, Thomas "Blue" and Acie Ray.
She is survived by: her daughter Kay Abrams (Ricky); her great grandchild Kyle Abrams; her sisters, Reba Deal, Sarah Harrell and Mary Naylor; and her niece Joan.
Due to Covid-19, a private family graveside service will be held to honor Ruby's life at Pinetops Cemetery.
