It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roderick Lamon Williams of Pinetops, North Carolina, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Roderick departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Roderick. Though Roderick may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his parents, Charles Eason of Tarboro, NC and Evon Williams; his close friend Sequoya Bullock of Pinetops, NC; his children, Niquel Barkley of Rocky Mount, NC, Alaysia Williams of Pinetops, NC, Za'kiya Williams of Pinetops, NC, Kahmari Williams of Pinetops, NC and Trinitee Allen of Tarboro, NC; and his brother DeVetric Williams of Pinetops, NC. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hemby-Willoughby Chapel (1800 Western Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gracepoint Church (1073 Woodland Rd, Tarboro, NC 27886).
