He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Anne Braswell Jefferson; his wife Cleo Johnson Braswell of Rocky Mount; his children, Robert Daniel Johnson of Rocky Mount and Nicholas Garrett Braswell of Rocky Mount; his siblings, Gwen Braswell Gardner (Max) of Macclesfield and Gary Van Braswell (Robin) of Rocky Mount; his brother-in-law Roger Jefferson of Pinetops; and his grandchild Noah Gabriel Braswell of Spring Hope. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
