He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Edwin Cobb (Billy) and Ruth Phillips Cobb; and his sister Martha Cobb Macior. He is survived by: his wife Carol Proctor Cobb; his daughters, Amanda McGough (John) of Charlotte, NC and Jenny Cobb of Hillsborough, NC.; his grandchildren, Caroline, Abigail McGough (Amanda) and Andrew Adams (Jenny); and his brother Bill Cobb of Pinetops, NC. He is also survived by cousins, and many great friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the Pinetops Presbyterian Church in memory of Matt.
