With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Faye Owens of Pinetops, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Owens and Irene Griffin Owens; her siblings, Ben, John, Melton Owens and Lois Owens Vick; and her great-niece Caroline Rose Proctor.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Ruffin Hobgood (Jason) of Pinetops and Brenda Newcombe (Johnny) of Elm City; her sisters, Jean Rose Owens Thorpe of Elm City and Carolyn Owens Reason of Rocky Mount; her friend Jane Reaves (Jesse Fleming) of Macclesfield; her grandchild Thomas Alan "T. C."; and her great grandchildren, Savannah Dail, Colton Cooper, Lexi Skaggs, Nathan Lawson, Abigail Newcombe and Baby Parker Andrew Skaggs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family friends and other extended relatives.
