It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Tolson (Pinetops, North Carolina), who passed away on February 3, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe Tolson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lester and Effie Proctor Tolson; and his siblings, Nora Flanagan, Eva Sugg, Billy Tolson, Lester T. Tolson, Jr. and Fred Tolson.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Cole and Anna; his wife Janice Brafford Tolson of Pinetops; his grandson Ethan of Crisp; and his brothers, Norris Tolson (Betsy) of Pinetops and Mickey Tolson (Dottie) of Tarboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Flowers are welcome, or donations can be made in his memory to the Respiratory Therapy Program at Edgecombe Community College.
