He is survived by: his wife Judy Dale Strode; his children, Jenny Dell Strode of Pinetops, NC, Harold Kent (Stephanie J. Strode) of Tarboro, NC and Patricia Ann Barbour of Kentucky; his nephews, Jeffery George of Phoenix, AZ and Melvin Lancaster (Leann) of Tollesboro, KY; and his niece Kirkie Lancaster of Kentucky. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
