It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Parker Jr. of Pinetops, North Carolina, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Parker, Sr. and Retha Morgan Parker. He is survived by: his sons, Rick Parker of Wilson, NC, Brandon Knight of Farmville, NC and Omar Parker of Fountain, NC; and his siblings, Johnny Davis of Rocky Mount, NC and Hazel R. Parker of Philadelphia, PA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
