We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2024, at the age of 80, George Henry Farmer of Pinetops, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Farmer and Ervin Dean Atkinson Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Jannie Farmer; his daughters, Rena Ransome of Wilson, NC and Jeanette Brown of Greenville, NC; his stepsons, Michael Harrison and Darryl Gray of Raleigh, NC; and his siblings, Timothy Farmer of Pinetops, NC, Jerry Farmer of Macclesfield, NC, Hazel Van of Rocky Mount, NC, Joyce Fox of Wilson, NC, Bettie Everette of Wilson, NC, Carolyn Austin of Bridgeport, CT, Patricia Cobb of Pinetops, NC, Valarie Horne of Farmville, NC and Angela McNair of Greenville, NC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren with other loving relatives and friends.
