She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Battle and Lottie Best Battle. She is survived by: her husband Elder Sammy Henry, Sr.; her granddaughters, Cassandra Edwards of Greenwood, SC, Valerie McWilliams of Charlotte, NC and Regina Williams of Stafford, VA; her great grandchild Gavin Williams of Stafford, VA; her stepchildren, Gregory Hayes of Durham, NC, Sammy Henry, Jr. of Durham, NC, Reginald Barrett of Winterville, NC and Shaquinthia Shonte Henry of Bridgeport, CT; and her sisters, Alice Battle of Tarboro, NC and Shirley Lewis of Farmville, NC. She is also survived by seven step-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren, with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
