She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas L. Tolson, Sr. and Effie Proctor Tolson; her siblings, Nora Tolson Flanagan and Thomas Lester Tolson, Jr.; her brothers-in-law, Woodrow B. Sugg and Edward L. Flanagan; and also, William Dock Tolson and Fred Lewis Tolson.
She is survived by: her husband Norfleet Lane Sugg; her children, Dennis Lane Sugg (Glynn), Barry Thomas Sugg (Brenda) and Vicki Sugg Branch (Steve); and her sisters-in-law, Charlene Holcombe of Georgia and Josephine McConnell (Charles) of Georgia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials may be made to the Pinetops United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 13, Pinetops, NC 27864.
