He is survived by: his wife Helen Gardner Sessoms; his children, Kevin Earl Sessoms (Linda) of Garner, NC and Kimberly Sessoms Kehoe (Jim) of High Point, NC; his stepsons, Mike Summerlin of Tarboro, NC. and Scotty Summerlin of Tarboro, NC.; his grandchildren, Cory Sessoms (Mary), Brendan Sessoms, Jacob, Landen and Holden Kehoe; his great grandchildren, Julius Sessoms and Felicity Sessoms; and his siblings, Alva Manning (Ray), Patricia Coker, Lou Ellen Myers (Sam), Jackie Gay (Spencer), Freeman Sessoms (Beverly) and Frank Sessoms (Donna).
