He is survived by: his wife Bettie Horne Smith; his children, Donnie Tillery (Janie), Elder Anthony Sharpe of Maryland, Carolyn, Bernice Sherrod, Louise Rogers, Shirley Coley and Jennifer Bryant Pinetops (David); and his brother Alexander Smith (Rosa Lee). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
