She was predeceased by: her parents, Starling Dancy and Teola Williams Dancy. She is survived by: her children, Milton Dancy of Rocky Mount, NC, Timothy Staton of Rocky Mount, NC, Jerome Staton of Fayetteville, NC, Kevin Staton and Robin of Macclesfield; and her siblings, Bennie Dancy of Capital Height, MD, James Dancy of Tarboro, NC and Lorraine Dancy of Washington, DC. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
