It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Rufus Harrell of Pinetops, North Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Harrell and Ellen Meeks Harrell; and his brothers, Columbus "Red" Harrell, Jr., Mickey Harrell and Jimmy Harrell.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Womble Harrell; his sons, Christopher Michael Harrell of Pinetops and Donald Andrew Harrell of Pinetops; his siblings, Barbara Barrows of New Bern, Kim Cleary (Thomas) of New Bern, Johnny Harrell of Kinston and Bobby Harrell of New Bern; and his sisters-in-law, Toni Rouse of Pinetops and Roberta Weaver of Pinetops.
