She was predeceased by: her father Alton B Clemmons; her brothers, Rabon Clemmons and Jim Clemmons; and her husband William Clarence Jones Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Phyllis J. Williams of Pinetops, Donald Glenn Jones (Suzie) of Elm City, William C. Jones Jr. (Tena) of Elizabeth City and Thomas Ray Jones (Ann) of Whitakers; and her siblings, Gail Joyner of Enfield, Junior Clemmons of Tarboro, Frank Clemmons (Edith) of Enfield, Wayne Clemmons (Rebecca) of Smithfield and Ronnie Clemmons (Shirley) of Elm City. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
