She is survived by: her husband Norris Tolson; her children, Kimberly Gregory of Wilmington, Jerri Tryon of Cary and Jon Tolson of Macclesfield; her sister Peggy Webb; and her grandchildren, Ashley of Austin, Hannah Tryon of Cary, Jack, Kate and Emory of Wilmington.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Pinetops United Methodist Church, 111 N 3rd St, Pinetops, NC 27864.
