He was predeceased by: his father John T. Jackson; and his siblings, Ronnie Eugene "Buddy" Jackson, Albert Junior "Junebug" Jackson, Dora Mae Jackson Butts and Connie Gail Jackson Evans.
He is survived by: his mother Ella Mae Horne Bass. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and other extended relatives.
