He was predeceased by: his father Russell Peaden; his sister-in-law Neva Peaden; his niece Brianna Peaden; and his aunt Hazel Padgett. He is survived by: his mother Lela Padgett Peaden of Mildred; his wife Molly Waters; his sons, Andrew Peaden of Tarboro and Matthew Peaden (Shannon Webb) of Tarboro; his granddaughter Zoe Peaden; his siblings, Victor Taylor (Susan) of Conetoe, Diane Scott (Randy) of Mildred, Donald Peaden of Arlington, VA, Ronald Peaden of West Jefferson, NC and Brenda Summerlin (Willie) of Mildred; and his father-in-law Armon W. (Jean Waters). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Edgecombe Memorial Park (2879 US-258, Tarboro, NC 27886). A reception was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
