He is survived by: his brothers, Knox Smith, Jack Smith, John Smith, Jerome Smith and Bruce Smith; his children, Mary (William Clark) of Jonas Ridge, NC and Damon (Sabrina Smith) of Linville, NC; his grandchildren, Todd Clark, Kevin (Miranda Clark), April Clark, Ivy Smith and Cameron Smith; his stepgrandson Nick Ward; his great grandchildren, Dustin Clark, Wyatt Clark and Addison Clark; his great great grandchildren, Bryson Clark, Nicole Clark and Decland Clark; and his siblings, Kenneth Smith of Charlotte, NC and Nina McBride of Mocksville, NC..
