It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Abraham Robbins of Pineola, North Carolina, who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Genevieve and Truman; and his grandson Knox Wagner Shelby. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Woodruff Robbins; his children, Curtis, Ernie (Margaret), Marti Shelby and Lisal McDonald; his siblings, Page (Claudia), Doran (Betty), Katy Fletcher and Edwina Sluder (Junior); and also Steve Shelby. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bridgemont Camp and Retreat Center where he served on the board of directors for over 30 years.
