He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Henry Harding and Lillian Woody Harding. He is survived by: his wife Linda Fox Harding; his daughter Chantae Johnson (Phillip) of Crossnore, NC; his stepson William "Jim" Griffin (Christa) of Hickory, NC; and his siblings, Michael Harding of Pineola, NC and Jean Harding of Spruce Pine, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
