She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Brassington and Agnes Brassington; and her sister Mary Presnell. She is survived by: her husband David Makarewicz of Pinehurst; her children, Dan (Lynda), Makarewicz, Lisa (Rex), Rudy, Connor, Cameron and Kristin; and her sisters, Valerie Kropewnicki and Catherine Ehlers (Gary). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
