It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Yvonne (Bonnie) Makarewicz of Pinehurst, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 78, on January 24, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Brassington and Agnes Brassington; and her sister Mary Presnell. She is survived by: her husband David Makarewicz of Pinehurst; her children, Dan (Lynda), Makarewicz, Lisa (Rex), Rudy, Connor, Cameron and Kristin; and her sisters, Valerie Kropewnicki and Catherine Ehlers (Gary). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boles Funeral Home Chapel (35 Parker Ln, Pinehurst, NC 28374). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (300 Dundee Rd, Pinehurst, NC 28374). A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (1105 Morganton Rd, Southern Pines, NC 28387).
