With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelby K. Cox of Pinehurst, North Carolina, born in Kelly, North Carolina, who passed away on October 11, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orrell Kelly and Janie Taylor Kelly; and her siblings, Marian, Norrine, Bonnie and Danny.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmie Cox; her children, Sherry Griffin (Edward) and Sherrill Britt (Laura); and her grandchildren, Greg Griffin, Brett Griffin and Larcie Britt.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her life, and memory may donate to Alzheimer's Foundation of America or their favorite charity.
