Sharon Herr Lohm Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Herr Lohm (Pinehurst, North Carolina), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sharon Herr farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sharon Herr is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her mother Elyn; her granddaughter Scout Cantrell; and her husband Stephen Ernest Lohm. She is survived by: her daughter Felicity Cantrell (Lohm); her son-in-law Tony Cantrell; and her granddaughter Katherine Grace Cantrell.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pinehurst Trace Clubhouse (1 Mockingbird Way, Pinehurst, NC 28374). During the Pandemic, she hand sewed thousands of masks and sent them out all over the country to people.
In lieu of flowers, Sharon would request that donations may be made in her honor to The For Scout Foundation 1971 West Downer Place Aurora IL 60506 which was established to honor the life of her granddaughter Scout by helping children and arts programs in schools and animal rescue organizations.
