Sandra M Race Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra M Race of Pinehurst, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl McMurray and Maria Lutch McMurray; and her brother David McMurray. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Race; her daughters, PJ Greinke (Mark) and Karen Kocher; her grandchildren, Lauren Kelly (Kenny), Alan Kocher, Steven Greinke (Sara) and Kate Greinke; her great grandchild Janet Kelly; her siblings, Joan McMurray, Pat Carter (Ed) and Dan McMurray (Jackie); and her sister-in-law Judy McMurray. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:55 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Boles Funeral Home (35 Parker Ln, Pinehurst, NC 28374).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Christopher Reeve Foundation, the ASPCA or the charity of your choosing.
