He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McComber Hennessey and Helen O'Grady Hennessey; and his siblings, Thomas F (Hennessey), Helen Chetney and Alice Irene.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Ajemian Hennessey; and his daughter Amy Lynn James (Todd 'TJ' James). He is also survived by five nieces, nine nephews and several grand nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Coalition for Human Care, Southern Pines or First Health Hospice House, Pinehurst, NC.
